NATWEST T20 BLAST


While working as the in house designer for Surrey County Cricket Club, I was tasked with creating the brand and advertisement for NatWest T20 Blast cricket at the Kia Oval.


This was advertised through various high profile platforms across London - including the London Evening Standard, the Transport for London network, Sport Magazine, Time Out and City AM - helping the club generate a record amount of T20 Blast sales - securing a consistent 18% increase in 2014 and 2015.


Nationally, one in every six tickets for the T20 Blast is sold to a match at the Kia Oval and last year saw nearly 120,000 fans attend the seven games at the ground, including a number of sell outs.


The brand was so successful it has been retained for three consecutive years - with only minor updates and tweaking required.


During the second and third year I was also the photography director for the campaign, allowing me the chance to work directly with high profile international sportsmen such as Kumar Sangakkara, Jason Roy, Tom Curran, Gareth Batty and Jade Dernbach.


The campaign has been widely recognised as an industry leader, both in terms of design and results. It has been nominated for the prestigious Sports Industry Awards and a number of ECB Business of Cricket awards.
